In a recent interview with Kiowa Gordon who plays Embry Call in New Moon, he tells us his favorite scene in New Moon. When I was reading the book, I was so focused on the fact that Edward had left, I couldn't concentrate; When I reread New Moon, I was able to enjoy parts with Jacob and his werewolf friends, such as the seen in Emily's house after the fight with Paul. It has a very positive energy and everyone (with Bella as an exception) is so laid-back and happy.
"I call it the muffin scene,” Kiowa said. “We all gather around at Emily’s house — it’s Sam’s, the big pack leader’s fiancee — and we all just gather around and eat muffins and talk about stuff.”
Can't wait to see that in the movie! Hopefully Chris Weitz doesn't edit it out, but if he does, maybe it will be in the deleted scenes on DVD! Oh well, we'll just have to wait and see!
