Eclipse

It's now December, and we only have 6 more months to go! (206 days, to be EXACT!) I totally can't wait, nor can my friends, to sit in the movies, holding that greasy, buttery popcorn with a soda on your right, watching the previews and thinking, "Woah! I couldn't wait to see New Moon, and now here I am watching Eclipse!!!" It'll be lots of fun checking it out with my friends, once again, and maybe by then there'll be even MORE of my classmates with the group.

Notice I've added an Eclipse widget to the Sidebar, so we can all easily keep track of how many more days until the third installment in the Twilight Saga!
In this movie, for those of you who haven't read the book, we'll be seeing lots of Edward and Jacob (so everybody wins!). Bella will have to make a decision: Vampire, or best friend- werewolf? Will she marry Edward? Will things heat up between her and Edward? Between her and Jacob? And the werewolves will surely be playing a bigger roll in this film, along with lots of fighting and action, so guys: Come on down!

All these things are making us even MORE anxious to see Rob, Kristen, Taylor, and all the others on the big screen in June!
So right now, all I know for sure is one thing: I can't wait to see Eclipse!!!

Very Kool!

So turns out that seeing New Moon with my friends was a LOT more exciting than seeing it alone (no offense!) ;) There was Angela, Coco, Ashley, Gab, Nicole D., Sandra, and me waiting on a big line (but we were really close to the front!) Then Christelle, Eric, and Christian came a bit later, but we had saved seats for them! We took up an entire row, with the exception of one seat at the end which we realized we didn't need... I sat next to Ashley and Nicole D., but Christelle and I commented throughout the entire movie.

In my opinion, seeing New Moon more than once was a great experience (and it just so happens that I'm going again on Wednesday with my dad!!!) *yay! claps hands*

Surprisingly, our huge Harry Potter fan, Ms. Coco herself!, decided to give New Moon a chance... and she LOVED it! As if this weren't great enough, she later informed me that she was Team Jacob ~ that's my girl Coco! lol :P

At the end, we all had an awesome time with one another, and now we're all counting down the days to Eclipse! Only 219 more days to go! (hahaha)

OM.....

OMG! OMT! OME! OMJ! That was AWESOME! The guys were h-o-t!!! New Moon was a LOT better than Twilight, from the intense seens between our fave couple to the great action with the werewolves! I had to cover my ears A LOT because every time Jacob walked out, shirtless or not, or you saw Edward, at least 3 people would scream as if for their lives!!! It was so annoying, and most of the time I couldn't hear what the actors were saying... :( But tomorrow I'm going with a big group of friends, and we'll all get to watch it together! I can't wait to see it again, and then eventually nermous amounts of time once it hits DVD! And don't forget: 220 more days till Eclipse!!! :)

P.S. Though the ending was incredible, at the same time I was thinking, Now I have to wait 7 more months for the next movie, and they ended this one with Edward saying "Marry Me, Bella!" Come on! <3

P.P.S. I love looking at the countdown for New Moon and it's ZEROED out on everything!!! :P

The Wait...

The wait... it's over!!!! New Moon, the long-awaited sequel to Twilight, will officially makes its grand debut in theatres tomorrow! I can't wait! My friends and I are going in a group on Saturday, but I'm sure lots of you crazy Twilighters are going more than once to watch this movie (I know I am!!! :P) Well, this will probably be my last official post before the big film, and then tomorrow it's all about the craziness and excitement of NEW MOON! I hope everyone enjoys the movie, and then it's the countdown for Eclipse!!! :) Have a great time whenever it is you go, and have fun! <3

New Moon Illustrated Movie Companion

Now that the New Moon Illustrated Movie Companion has hit the shelves and thousands of fans (including me!) have bought their own copies, we can all take a look at what's to come in November...

Twilight was big, but New Moon is HUGE! Twilighters across the globe are waiting patiently (or maybe not) for the second installment of the Twilight Saga to make its way to the big screen. So to pass the time, the New Moon Illustrated Movie Companion had been released to the public (along with interviews with the cast and crew, the behind-the-scenes stories, and, of course, PICTURES!). I, personally, couldn't wait to open the beautiful book (Careful: Don't bend the cover!) and take a look inside. Above is a selection of my favorite pictures (notice that there are a variety of pictures, not just Vampires or Werewolves ;P).

Now I just need two more things to make this obsession complete: the official New Moon Soundtrack in my CD Player, and for November to come faster!!!

Back to the pictures... I almost feel back when I saw the pictures featuring Edward Cullen! That close-up is gorgeous, and the other one makes me curious. But, being a Jacob fan, I almost FAINTED when I saw Taylor in character.... SHIRTLESS no less! ;)

Now it's official: I think we'll be seeing a lot more sneak-peeks at New Moon (and possibly Eclipse) as the dates get closer! :)

Lots of News!

First order of business is to state as much of the latest, exciting news about the upcoming films the Twilight Saga: New Moon and Eclipse as possible!

1) Yesterday, 9/13/09, was Bella's B-day and the MTV Video Music Awards. We got yet ANOTHER look at New Moon (yay!). Further down I will list some things we got a look at in the trailer.

2) Hot Topic is now selling TWO New Moon shirts: one with the first official picture from New Moon (l-r: Edward, Jacob, Bella) and the other has the New Moon logo with a orange-y background (a forest?)...

3) David Slade recently (accidentally?) Tweeted that they have already shot the "Kiss" between Bella and Jacob (I believe it is the second one right before the fight, since the same day they shot then "Tent" scene!) I can't wait for pictures!

We got to see:

A lot more Volturi, some humans, more Bella with Edward, some Alice, and more Bella with Jacob! (along with some other things like the cliff dive!)

Eclipse Set Pictures

http://www.newmoonmovie.org/ has just released some pictures of Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan, RobPattz as Edward Cullen and Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black on the set of the third installment of the Twilight saga: Eclipse! The movie, as most of you know, is set to come out in theatres on June 30th, 2010! Every day, little by little, we get closer to the New Moon premiere, and then again also to the Eclipse premiere! So excited.... :)

Above are some pcitures of the three leading roles on the set of Eclipse. They are all in character and I must say that Jake is looking H-A-W-T! (but then he always does) ;)

HD Picture

We've been recently seeing a lot of news about the upcoming movie the Twilight Saga: New Moon! This is very good news. I am adoring the pictures, even if they are professionally fan-made, becasue they make amazing wallpapers and give us brief sneek-peaks at the movie! ;) This picture above was released to the public not too long ago (in fact, it's in one of the previous posts), and now it's in HD! Yes, it is currently replacing Jacob's beautiful glare on my laptop, but it won't be my wallpaper for long. I can't wait for the new extended trailer that will be previewed on September 13th at the MTV Video Music Awards! Hopefully not too long after that, we'll be getting some pictures. But until then, we're good!

New Movie Pics

In the September Issue of People Magazine, we get a look at The Twilight Saga: New Moon. We've already seen some pictures of the Volturi, and now we have two more pictures to admire!

One is of Jasper and Alice all smiles, theier eyes as gold as ever.

And the other is obviously of Edward and Bella, which appears to me to be the Proposal Scene. (just a guess....)

Can't wait for the magazine to hit stands so that I can buy my own copy! :) The other pictures in the magazine better be good, but even just having the ones we've already seen are fine for me! ;P

MTV VMA!

The MTV Awards were a big success when it aired on TV on May 31st, 2009! Not only were there a ton of surprises, there was the first look we Twilighters got at the New Moon trailer ever! Though we've seen a lot more footage from the new upcoming film since then, I'm sure we can all agree that there isn't too much we can see!

So, thanks to whoever decided to do this, at the MTV VMA (MTV Video Music Awards) - that's a lot of letters! :P - on September 13th, we will get an extended look at the NM trailer with some of the stars like Kristen, Rob, and Taylor! I am super-duper excited to watch these awards (even if it's just to see the video!) :P

I have a feeling that, since the movie will make its grand debut in theatres in about 2 months, this will be the last sneak-peek we will get... :( Until the Movie Companion comes out in October, and then I think we'll survive the 1 month remaining!

Interview with Jackson

Jackson Rathbone has been playing the role of Jasper Hale since Twilight (2008). We haven't had scenes that were mainly about him, occasionally seeing him with the other Cullens in the background.

In New Moon, Jasper is one of the reasons for Edward and the Cullens leaving. He attacks Bella at her 18th Birthday Party (held in the Cullen mansion). We get to see hom run to Bella, and then Edward throw him across the room.
But in Eclipse, we get a look at Jasper's history, and him training the CUllens for the fight against the newborn vampires.

Below is an interview taken from http://www.eclipsemovie.org/ with Jackson and him telling us some things about what we'll see in the upcoming films:

"MTV: Are there training scenes in “Eclipse” along these lines?
Rathbone: It’s interesting; there’s a lot of cool scenes where Jasper trains the Cullen family on how to fight the newborns. He gets to train Emmett — and Emmett is a born fighter — so he’s telling Emmett all these techniques, and Emmett thinks he could just best Jasper [during their sparring]. Jasper ends up getting the best of him, because it’s a war mentality, not just a street brawl. It’s about thinking ahead; it’s a chess game.
MTV: Cool. Will we see the scene where Jasper gets bitten?
Rathbone: Oh yeah, we have to see that. It’s going to be great. I’ve been studying up a lot on the Civil War and that era. It really was a crazy time. It was all-out war on our own turf and between countrymen. That’s terrible. It’s an interesting time to see when Jasper was actually human and what his human form was and, when he gets turned, how intense and how dark he is. Then [we'll see] his realization of what he’s become, him finding Alice and being redeemed by love.
MTV: And is that the first time we’ll see your powers?
Rathbone: Actually, in “New Moon,” we get a little glimpse. Inside the school."

David Slade Pictures

According to Eclipse director David Slade's Twitter account, he has been working with Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and Robert Pattinson recently. And as if this information was exciting enough, he notes that "third week of shooting just hours away". What does this mean? Have they shot a lot of scenes from the third installment in the Twilight Saga? When will be seeing new pictures from the sets? All of these questions are very good, and they make me wonder...
So to keep us occupied, Director Slade had been posting a lot of pictures from...Well, the set, I guess?

There are pictures of "Sound Boots", "Abstract Grass", and our beloved Taylor!

Above are the pictures in which David has given us a look at to keep us busy while they film Eclipse...

The two pictures of wolfman Taylor Lautner are quite exciting. One was taken "during early camera lighting tests. Not a whisker in sight." (David Slade)

The other, and most impressive, is of Taylor mid-backflip!

I am, now more than ever, completely fascinated by these pictures and even more curious about what is going on on the set of Eclipse! Can't wait until we get more "behind-the-scenes" info!

Alex Meraz

In a recent interview with Alex Meraz, buff wolfman Paul, he talked about filming a scene with Kristen Stewart a.k.a. Bella Swan:

{"I decided, all right, the Wolf Pack stay up all night looking for who’s killing people on the res, so we don’t sleep very much. So I thought it would be a great idea if I stayed up for 10 days straight." What should have been a simple scene — a confrontation between Bella (Stewart) and the Wolf Pack — became, in Meraz’s mind, his “Brando moment.” Wanting to try something different, the actor played the scene overly aggressive: screaming, grabbing Stewart by the throat, hurtling his line at her.
"[Director] Chris Weitz comes off-set like, ‘Yeah, I like the energy Alex, but just take it down a little,' "

Spencer chimed in: "Meanwhile the producers are freaking out back there."
" 'Cause nobody touches Kristen Stewart," joked Meraz.}

I can't wait to see some scenes with the Wolf Pack now! They're sure to add a bit more action to the film... So pumped for New Moon!!! :)

Graduation Day

On August 28th, 2009, many people - the cast and crew of Eclipse - helped film the Graduation Scene in Vancouver! There are pictures of some stars on set, including Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan and her new black hair! She is holding Bella's diploma and her "hideous yellow" graduation gown.

Below is an interview with Van City Allie who was on the Graduation Set of Eclipse while they were filming:

"I got the chance to visit the set of the Graduation Scene in Eclipse today after work. I heard that Rob, Kristen, Ashley, Jackson, Peter and others were on set today filming the scene. Sadly I only got there for the tail end of it, so here are some of the photos I captured."(taken from www.newmoonmovie.org)

I wonder what other scenes they will be filming soon! The news that they have already shot so many scenes, including pictures as proof, makes me even more anxious to watch Eclipse....After New Moon, of course! :)

Eclipse Set

There were rumors that The Twilight Saga: Eclipse had already begun filming about a week ago. Though there were pictures of the Eclipse Cast in Vancouver, there was no confirmation of any filming. But with pictures of Anna Kendrick a.k.a. Jessica Stanley, RobPattz a.k.a. Edward Cullen, Ashley Greene a.k.a. Alice Cullen, and Jackson Rathbone a.k.a. Jasper Cullen on the set of the film, we can be sure that at least the dress rehearsals have begun! :)

David Slade, Eclipse director, recently tweeted that he had already shot with Rob, Kristen, Taylor. And a tweet from Billy Burke a.k.a. Charlie Swan from not too long ago stated that he had already arrived in Vancouver and that "someone gets a cap gown." Does this mean that they are shooting the Graduation scene??? I wonder...

I am so excited to watch New Moon, but I'm sure the third installment in the Twilight Saga will also be a success!

With all these rumors flying around about Eclipse, I'm hoping for some new pictures soon!

Volturi Photos

We recently got a look at the new issue of People Magazine, coming out September 7th, where there were pictures of the Volturi and some others along with an interview with New Moon director, Chris Weitz. Now the first official pictures of the Volturi have been released online and we get a look at what the Italian vampire clan will look like in November. These pictures above make me even more excited to watch the movie!

I am so excited to listen to this music while reading the brand new information in the New Moon Movie Companion are both released in mid-October. It's going to be a long wait for the movie, but with all this merchandise being released before the movie, I think we'll survive! :)

100 Reasons Why Twilight Is Better Than Harry Potter

Like any other day, I was surfing the web, like I usually do, and I came across this e-mail sent to me about Twilight! I, naturally, immediately clicked on the link... While it loaded, I thought "I hope this is good. If it is, I can definitely use the info..." Once the page was done loading, I scrolled down only to find the title: 100 Reasons Why Twilight Is Better Than Harry Potter!

Boy was I excited. I couldn't spend all day on the site, so I read some random comments on why Twilight is better than Harry Potter, and I found some very interesting opinions/reasons... Here are a few:
"Fave Twilight character: Jacob
Reason Twilight is better: Because the books and movie NEVER get old, and Harry gets old after the first time of reading/watching it. Plus Twilight has actually good looking people."

I laughed out loud at the last part! :P

"Fave Twilight character: Jacob black and Renesmee!
Reason Twilight is better: Okay well, first of all! Harry Potter was boring ,seriously i tried reading it and i couldn't understand anything it was so boring and confusing. Cause I'm so dumb it actually hurts!!!!.Then i watched the movie and i didn't even feel the need to read the second book! Then i watched twilight, i cried at the end because it was such a happy ending, i was like okay i have to read that book! I read it, I was like omg this is so good!!!!! So i was done with twilight, and went to new moon! I read that and Edward left i was so sad!!!!! Twilight has like twist and turns! All Harry Potter has is enemies and kill him and kill that! THERE IS NOTHING! like no romance either! Twilight there is like chemistrie! I just say twilight is better! I rest my case."

New Moon Stills

Here are some new stills from the upcoming movie The Twilight Saga: New Moon.

I wonder if the scene with Jacob and Bella almost kissing is when they're in the kitchen and the phone rings, interrupting Jake from kissing her... It better be! Besides, in my opinion, the kiss between the 2 in Eclipse is a great scene... Especially when Edward is defending Bella and they're calling each other names! :P

I absolutely can't wait to see some more scenes from Italy! The Volturi are going to be awesome!!! I think the picture of Edward is when Jane is torturing him. I mean, look at that face! But still, just a guess...

Anyways, that final picture of Jane is amazing! Her hair is very nicely combed, and those eyes are so vivid! This makes me even more anxious to watch New Moon on 11.20.09!

Lights, Camera, Action!

With New Moon coming out so soon and all these crazy fans worldwide, the cast and crew have begun filming Eclipse, the third installment in the Twilight Saga. There are pictures up and about of the cast in Vancouver along with the new members of the cast: Xavier Samuel as Riley, Jodelle Ferland as Bree, and the replacement of the fierce Victoria, played by Rachelle Lefreve in Twilight and New Moon, Bryce Dallas Howard, amongst many others who joined earlier this year in the filming of New Moon.
I certainly can’t wait for new pictures of the filming in Eclipse, but I have seen a few here and there on www.eclipsemovie.org of Victoria and Riley… Wondering what scenes they are filming? Me too. But we’ll just have to wait like we are waiting now for New Moon and like we waited for Twilight. Like my science teacher says, “Paciencia y mas paciencia.” :)
And when the movie does come out an we are all informed with clips and pics and we’re pumped up to watch Eclipse and we’re practically pulling our hair out and counting the days and minutes until the premiere (not that I know any one doing that…;P), hopefully we won’t scream at the top of our lungs at the screen something along the lines of, “Just start the movie already!!!” while they are playing the previews and trailers…:) Because what better way to celebrate the end of the school year in June than with the release of the long-awaited sequel to New Moon, Eclipse? Yes, you’ve heard right, Eclipse makes it grand debut on 6.30.10! I am so excited, but let’s get through November first, shall we? He He He :)

Alice in Blue

Have you seen this recent picture of Alice Cullen in blue? The outfit itself is very chic, the scarf matching with the gloves, and the book adding its own special touch. I love how she threw on the sky blue long sleeved shirt underneath the darker blue short sleeved button-up. She looks absolutely adorable, and I can’t wait to see some of her new fashions in New Moon!

We recently got a look at a new video for New Moon, now called “Meet Jacob Black”. We get to watch a full-length almost-2 minute trailer with many new clips from the movie and an interview with Taylor Lautner a.k.a. Jacob Black playing in the background, occasionally get glimpses of the star while he is talking. We get to see things such as the “Before-and-After Jacob Black”, some of the Wolf Pack, scenes in Italy, and many more like kisses between Edward and Bella, and maybe one between Jake and Bella?!

Kiowa Gordon a.k.a. Embry Call

In a recent interview with Kiowa Gordon who plays Embry Call in New Moon, he tells us his favorite scene in New Moon. When I was reading the book, I was so focused on the fact that Edward had left, I couldn't concentrate; When I reread New Moon, I was able to enjoy parts with Jacob and his werewolf friends, such as the seen in Emily's house after the fight with Paul. It has a very positive energy and everyone (with Bella as an exception) is so laid-back and happy.

Can't wait to see that in the movie! Hopefully Chris Weitz doesn't edit it out, but if he does, maybe it will be in the deleted scenes on DVD! Oh well, we'll just have to wait and see!

New Moon Board Game

Plans/What 2 Wear?

What 2 Wear? What 2 Wear? When New Moon comes out (the dates are endless) on whatever day it is, in mine case 11.20.09, what will Twilighters across the globe wear to the fabulous, awaited premiere to the theatres? Some may throw on a pair of jeans and T-Shirt, thinking "There. I'm dressed. Now I GOTTA get to the movies on time...AHHHH!" Others, like myself, the more dedictaed ones, will put on a New Moon T-Shirt (whatever it says on it) - whether it's the New Moon Logo or the name of your favorite character - and some pants, and then worry as much as you can that you won't get there on time.
There are many possibilities of what to wear... I am going with my mom and a group of friends. I am sure that in that group of friends, about 6 including me, there will be some wearing New Moon merchandise they bought, and others wearing whatever they would wear on a regular day. But no problem! As long as we all make it there within a good time. But sadly for us it'll be a school day, so our plan: Go to school in whatever we are gonna wear to the movies, then after school grab a bite and rush to the movies. Maybe we'll be so excited that we won't even have an appetite! (Very likely!) Hopefully we'll get godd seats, but at this point I almost don't care - as long as I see the dang movie and my expectations aren't met (they're beyond what I imagined ;P), I'll be happy.
Plan now! The days are passing by quickly, and before you know it, New Moon will be in theatres, you and your friends will be sitting in the best seats (thanks to getting there almost 1 hour before it started), loaded with warm, buttery popcorn and candy, your heart beating so fast that you think it's gonna explode! And all you can think is "I'M GONNA WATCH NEW MOON!" (repeated over and over and over again in your head until it actually starts!) :)

Teams...

"Team Edward!" "Team Jacob!" "Team Jakeward!" "Team Vampire!" "Team Werewolf!" "Team Human!"...? In the beginning, all of my friends and I were 100% anti-Jacob fans. Edward was the best. But as we re-read the series and re-watched the movie, we realized that Jacob wasn't all that bad. Since, and I think I speak for my friends as well, we couldn't "abandon" Edward, we decided to become "Team Jaward", or as others call it "Team Jakeward". At times we are "Team Jacob", and at other times "Team Cute Guys!" :) It's hard to choose one favorite character, so why not like them all? Everyone has their flaws, but they also have their upsides (except I can't find too many positive things about Bella, sad to say...), and with so many characters, it's hard to find a perfect one to match all your preferences. But then again, those dedicated "Team Edward" fans or "Team Jacob" fans, I think, aren't gonna wanna be changing sides any time soon. But you never know...

Twilight History

Twilight began with a dream. Now I know that might sound a bit cheesy, but I find it very cool and interesting. I mean, what if everyone in the world had such a dream like Stephenie Meyer’s, and we all decided to make books out of it? Not that we’d have places to put all of these books, nor the time to read them all. So one night, Steph, as her friends called her, got up and sat down at her desk and began writing. She started from the core of it all, the scene in the meadow. She worked to create the characters, found the names to fit them, and let them take her on an amazing adventure.
When Stephenie finished writing her very first novel, many things happened in between, but she finally found a publisher that wanted to publish her book: Little, Brown. This romantic fantasy was released in 2006, and it instantly became a hit. Though there were thousands of readers and fans of this book, it wasn’t as nearly as popular as it became when the movie version came out in theatres on November 21, 2008. Earlier that year, the final book in the Twilight saga, Breaking Dawn, was released. Even more became fans, and its popularity grew. Twilight (the movie)’s box office worldwide engrossed over $380,000,000!!!
Little by little, tweens, teens, and adults became interested in the story, and the books started selling even more. I mean, I had read all of the books in exactly 14 days, and it had been before I had seen the movie, though after it had come out in theatres. I quickly spread the news of what was going on with the Twilight craziness, and soon enough, 15 of my 26 classmates became Twilighters. We were all anxious to watch the movie on DVD now, and we were sure that it’d be great. On the very same day Twilight came out on DVD, March 21, 2009, it sold over 3 million copies!!!
The Twilight fans all over the world craved to find out what would happen. The solution: read the books! I had many of my family members as well join this group, and soon enough, here we are! I know we all can’t wait for New Moon to make its debut on whatever day it is, depending on where we are in the world. But I am sure, thanks to the cast, the crew, and their dedication, the movie will be a sure hit!
